We hate last minute shopping so we thought of getting everything in ONE trip. Afterall, we will be heading down to Muar and Malacca this weekend *flap flap eye lashes towards X-T*. So, we’ve decided to shop at Mid Valley and The Gardens this year. Surprisingly, Christmas shopping for all our love ones was done in 4 hrs 30 minutes (I used to shop for at least 9 hours to complete the same task). If you think our family only consist of a set of parents and grandparents? You’re so wrong. Let’s not count X-T’s family member first. If I were to gather both paternal and maternal side of my family, I think it’s going to fit a 42 seater bus and a few on a small van! It was truly a cultural shock for X-T when he first got to know my family members. *LOL*
But since not all of them are in Malaysia and not all of them celebrates Christmas, our shopping list was cut to 1/2. Initially, it was fun running around checking out new items and striking out every name that we’ve gotten a gift for. At the end of the last hour, our brains start to jam up and we can hardly decide on what to buy anymore. On our last 30 minutes at The Gardens, we were practically scouting and worrying… thinking that we’ve missed out a gift for two person in our list which we’ve already gotten them something an hour ago at Mid Valley!! *Yeah! we were mentally & physically tired*
X-T and I head back home with a truck load of presents and two slightly lighter wallets. We were truly happy to know that we’ve accomplished our Christmas shopping and we’ll not have to worry about the last minute traffic jams at malls which is about to happen real-l-l-l soon.. Yay!

Winniethepooh: I think having X-T in my life kinda speed up the ’shopping trip’ a little. No zig-zagging in the mall and end up buying everything for myself. *LOL*
Oh I’ll be blogging about the presents we got for each other later
Slowcatchupkuan: I cannot tahan the last minute rush..Age is getting up, BP will rise everytime I see traffic jam and human jam at malls :p

WAH..I love shopping! Haha..Isn’t it nice to shop for presents for ppl? But yeah..I can understand that after 4 hours of walking around, the brain and the legs get tired..which makes shopping less fun! That’s why I keep my shopping time below 2 hours.. :p
