…….Even your credit card redemption points she sapu..She helps you clear all your credit card points on time by redeeming additional practical appliances for the new home. *winks*

When I was non-existance in X-T’s life, he used to accumulate his credit card points to redeem gadgets, belts and everything from the gent’s section in the catalogue. 3 weeks ago, when he asked what do I need since his credit card points are about to expire, I shove him my ‘wish list’ within minutes. haha… W-O-M-A-N ;P

**L’abeille browsing through the points redemption catalogue and point the ‘thing’ she wanted in less than 5 minutes**

X-T: W-H-A-T? Dear…Why do we need another rice cooker? *confused smile*

L’abeille: Neh, this one different from the one we are having now wor…This one hor, can do this *point at picture*, this and this *continue convincing the husband-to-be*. Our existing one not so “INTELLIGENT” and I can’t perform “SPECIAL” function with our “OLD” one. This new one is “COOL” because bla bla bla.beelibaalaa..beelibaa..baa..laa..laa… and inside got “MICROCOMPUTER” and it’s “MORE THAN JUST A RICE COOKER” ge wor!

My rice cooker with porridge and rice ‘function’

X-T: ……………………………… *almost fell asleep but agrees to get the additional rice cooker willingly hahaha*

2 weeks later… the parcel arrives…

Click HERE to see what’s so INTELLIGENT, SPECIAL & COOL about this MICROCOMPUTERISED rice cooker that the OLD one cannot do!

Yeah, I went missing since the 16th of April after the Korean feast I had with X-T.  I did not intoxicate myself with all the junk food shown in my earlier photo. Since last week, the telephone line and streamyx was down at my office and since then, I’ve been working at the comfort of my very own home.

One PC for ‘workstuff’ and another lappy for ‘personal’ stuff.. Blissful isn’t it?

~L’abeille’s normal working day scenerio~

Since work starts at 9am for me every morning. I will usually wake up at 8am every morning, brush, scrub and get ready to hit the road latest by 8:40am. I reach office 2-3minutes before 9am (moi not speeding, moi stay extremely near to moi’s office…don’t get too jealous hor!) , make coffee, start up my workstation and I’ll officially start my workday at 9:15am. Lunch is at 12:30noon. I only have two choices, blog if I’m not going out for lunch or I move my ass away from my PC for a quick lunch and return by 13:30pm. At 17:30pm, off goes the PC, I’ll return home without even thinking about work until the next morning.

~L’abeille -home based scenario~

So, now I can wake up at 9am in the morning and download my emails while brushing my teeth. Listens to my favourite MP3s while I enjoy my shower. Eat toast and drink coffee while replying my emails.

I still take a break at 12:30noon but now I can watch AFC Seven-Oh-Three and drink fresh orange until 13:30pm.

At 17:30pm, all I need to do is walk downstairs and I’m ‘off duty’ and I can continue watching AFC Seven-Oh-Three until X-T comes to join me for dinner.

It seems that my work-at-home scenario is simpler and less stressful but GOSH!, I’m feeling even more tired as compared to working at the office. Reason? Because my office PC is with me 24/7, I’ve the urge to WORK 24/7. I tend to login to the server even during midnights and wee hours in the morning to check my emails. Since my contacts are mostly from USA, France and Norway, I reply emails and think about work, work and work off-office hours. I lost my mojo to blog, I lost my sense of time, I look at X-T in the evening but my mind went blank, I am always sleepy… crappy! Am I weird or it happens to everyone who’s currently working @ home?

I know..I know… we gotta eat healthy and Styrofoam packaging is bad for health and instant noodle is too waxy. They stay two whole days, 48 hrs in our system before being washed out of our system-if and only if you detox properly. Snack properly. Chew on carrot sticks and cucumber strips, junk food are too salty, they kill your kidney and yadda yadda yadda… but at times, I just can’t help it, I MUST have it *ROARRRrrr*

Yes! I’m talking about these Korean babes! Korean Instant noodles and snacks.

I used to get my Korean supplies from Lotte mart at Hartamas but lately, we discovered another Korean community @ Ampang. X-T discovered this place during the YES-I-DO dinner we had months ago. There are rows of Korean restaurants and marts selling snacks, vegetables and even Korean cooking utensils, toiletries and everything ‘Korean’ which you can’t find them on our local supermarkets such as ‘silk worms in a can‘ ..hehe…. We even spotted a shop renting out Korean DVD series too..

It was raining that evening but since we’ve postponed our trip to ‘mini Korea’ for a couple of week, last weekend, die die also must go…Hai mai?!

First we visited the Korean Bakery & cafe

The interior of the bakery caught our eyes. Do these tiny cubicles remind you of a child nursery?

Every cubicle in this bakery cum cafe is decorated with a different theme. We occupied this cubicle that day. A tiny room decorated with mother-goose tale theme with a tiny green wooden swing door, cushions and a bright kidney shaped table.

Enjoying their homemade ice cream…. Chocolate for X-T and strawberry for L’abeille

I was busy looking at the walls in our ‘room’.

Hoi! when you miss someone, you don’t ‘paint’ walls, you CALL! *eyes rolled*

We return home that evening after our stroll at the marts to enjoy our snacks and instant noodles for ‘dinner’. Nothing healthy for dinner that evening…Sinfully satisfying! We shall return again when our craving for Korean goodies kicks in again….

“Darling baby, bring down the curtains! It’s Window Treatment day!!”.I can still recall my mom’s instruction to me at least 4 times a year when I was a small little girl. I used to stay with my grandparents in a big house back in Ipoh. If you think it’s fun to have more space in the house? THINK again my dear readers. There’s no maid in the house. My mom was a full time housewife at that time and I can still remember Saturday spells “spring cleaning day” for the both of us. During “window treatment” day, work load increases because we’ve to remove the curtains from the rail for cleaning.

Honestly, it was fun scrubbing the toilet together with mummy when I was young because that’s the only time I was allowed to splash water on mom without being scolded. I enjoyed climbing the ladder up the ceiling to clean the dirty fan because that’s the only chance for me to play with the high ladder. Hah KIDS! *eyes rolled*

When it comes to curtain cleaning, I’ve developed a phobia cleaning them! My grandparent’s house has more windows than walls. There are so many curtains in the house and they came in big and thick pieces. We can’t wash curtains in the washing machine because it’s too heavy and it will spoil the machine. We’ve to soak the curtains overnight in big big pails and the next day, we’ve to hand wash them, PIECE BY PIECE! When all curtains are cleaned, we’ve to sun the curtains for hours!

Now that X-T and I are getting ourselves a house to call our own, I told X-T “Darling, no curtains please. I’m scared.” I would prefer Bamboo Shades or even Plantation Shutters. As long as we need not wash curtains anymore ;)
